President Zardari and PM Sharif Send Eid Greetings to Muslim Ummah

Islamabad, On the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended their heartfelt greetings to the nation and the global Muslim community, calling for acts of kindness, compassion, and solidarity with those in need.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders emphasized the significance of Eid as a time for reflection, generosity, and the sharing of blessings with the less fortunate. President Zardari, in his message, expressed hope for peace, happiness, and security for all, underscoring the resolve of the Pakistani nation to overcome challenges and work towards a prosperous future.

Highlighting the spirit of brotherhood and tolerance, President Zardari also voiced solidarity with the oppressed Muslims in Gaza and Palestine, condemning the human rights violations occurring there. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their quest for self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

Prime Minister Sharif, marking the conclusion of Ramadan, underscored Eid’s message of solidarity, compassion, and societal harmony. He appealed to the nation to support the underprivileged, ensuring they too can partake in the festivities. Paying homage to the country’s martyrs and armed forces, he recognized their sacrifices and contributions to national security and international peacekeeping.

Furthermore, PM Sharif encouraged the Muslim Ummah to remember their brethren in Palestine and Kashmir, praying for relief from their sufferings and the injustices of occupation forces.
