President Zardari Commends Pakistan’s Armed Forces for National Defense and Development

Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed high regard for the Pakistan Armed Forces’ role in defending the nation’s borders and contributing to its socio-economic development. These remarks were made during a meeting with General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, in Islamabad.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during the meeting, President Zardari emphasized his full confidence in the country’s security forces to address both internal and external security challenges effectively. Both leaders reiterated their commitment to eradicating terrorism with the support of the Pakistani populace.

General Mirza, congratulating President Zardari on his presidential role, detailed the current security situation and the military’s operational readiness. He affirmed that the Armed Forces are well-prepared to manage the nation’s security challenges.
