President Zardari Orders Strict Measures Against Crime in Sindh, Urges Speed on Development Projects

Karachi, President Asif Ali Zardari has instructed the Sindh government to intensify efforts against criminal activities, particularly street crime in Karachi, and to expedite the completion of development projects within the province. This directive was issued during a meeting held in Karachi today, which also covered the status of ongoing initiatives such as the Ghotki-Kandhkot Bridge.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting saw the attendance of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, among other officials. The President received updates on the actions being taken against dacoits in the Katcha areas and measures to curb street crime and drug trafficking.
