Prime Minister condoles death of Shabnam Shakil

Islamabad, March 02, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of eminent poetess Ms Shabnam Shakil.

In his message, the Prime Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the members of the bereaved family. He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to her family members to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.

The Prime Minister lauded the invaluable contribution of Ms Shabnam Shakil for the promotion of Urdu poetry in the country which would be long remembered.
