Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed a strong interest in boosting trade and investment relationships with Kazakhstan. This discussion took place during a meeting with the Kazakh Ambassador to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad. The conversation highlighted the importance of enhanced bilateral ties, regional connectivity, and security.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his wishes to Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and expressed anticipation for their forthcoming meeting in Astana at the SCO Council of Heads of State meeting. Ambassador Kistafin relayed President Tokayev’s greetings and outlined several ongoing initiatives aimed at expanding relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
