Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended his heartfelt greetings to the Sikh community in Pakistan and around the world as they celebrate the Baisakhi festival. According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in his message, Prime Minister Sharif highlighted Baisakhi as a vibrant symbol of spring and a celebration that contributes to the rich tapestry of faiths and cultures in Pakistan. He emphasized that the festival’s colors enhance the country’s cultural diversity. Sharif also assured that the Pakistani government and its provincial authorities are committed to providing comprehensive facilities to Sikh pilgrims who travel to Pakistan to participate in Baisakhi rituals.
