Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has embarked on a day-long visit to the United Arab Emirates, marking his first official trip to the country since assuming office. The visit is aimed at bolstering the long-standing relationship between Pakistan and the UAE, with a focus on enhancing bilateral ties and encouraging investment.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his visit, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to have a one-on-one meeting with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The leaders will discuss strategies to further strengthen the Pak-UAE bilateral relationship. Additionally, Prime Minister Sharif will engage with Pakistani and UAE businessmen and investors from the Information Technology sector, as well as top government officials and business leaders in the UAE.
The delegation accompanying Prime Minister Sharif includes several key figures such as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi. This high-level participation underscores the significance of the visit in terms of diplomatic achievements and the potential for economic engagement.
