Protests Erupt in New Delhi Over Deaths of Three Students in Coaching Center Flood

New Delhi: The city is witnessing ongoing protests following the tragic deaths of three students at a local coaching center, which was inundated by floodwaters.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred at the Rao IAS Coaching Institute situated in the basement of a multi-storied building in New Delhi. The victims, identified as Shriya Yadav from Uttar Pradesh, Tanya Soni from Telangana, and Naveen Dalwin from Kerala, lost their lives due to the flooding. The event sparked widespread outrage among the youth, including many students, who have since taken to the streets demanding accountability.

The demonstrators are calling for immediate action against both the officials of the Delhi Municipal Corporation and the management of the coaching center. In response to the intense protests, the Delhi government has taken decisive action by sealing 13 coaching centers that were operating from basements across the city.
