Lahore, The Board of Directors of an undisclosed company listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange announced on April 30, 2024, that it would not recommend any dividend for the quarter ended March 31, 2024. The meeting, held in Lahore disclosed the financial outcomes for both the quarter and the nine-month period ended on the same date.
In the recent quarter ending March 31, 2024, the company recorded administrative expenses of 55,000 Rupees compared to 123,500 Rupees in the same quarter the previous year. Other operating expenses also decreased from 6,843,381 Rupees in the first quarter of 2023 to 6,491,177 Rupees in 2024. Over the nine-month period, total operating expenses amounted to 19,741,531 Rupees in 2024, down from 20,906,442 Rupees during the same period in 2023.
The financial reports indicated a loss before taxation of 6,546,177 Rupees for the quarter and 19,741,531 Rupees for the nine-month period, reflecting a reduction from the 6,966,881 Rupees and 20,906,442 Rupees recorded respectively in 2023. Correspondingly, the loss per share decreased from 1.56 to 1.47 for the quarter and from 4.68 to 4.42 over the nine months.
The company’s quarterly report will be transmitted electronically through the Pakistan Unified Corporation Action Reporting System (PUCARS) in due course, as part of the regular financial disclosures to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
