Islamabad: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has unveiled its new Online Application Submission and Information System (OASIS), a state-of-the-art platform aimed at simplifying the telecom licensing process. Launched on August 14, 2024, OASIS is accessible via https://eservices.pta.gov.pk and represents a significant step forward in enhancing the ease of doing business within the country’s telecom sector.

According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, OASIS is designed to offer a seamless and efficient application experience for telecom companies and individual applicants alike. The system integrates several advanced features, including automated CNIC verification in partnership with NADRA, real-time company registration checks with SECP, and secure online payment options through the National Bank of Pakistan. Additionally, the process incorporates biometric verification at NADRA e-Sahulat outlets and automated confirmations of fee payments, which collectively streamline the licensing operations and reduce processing times.
