Punjab Police Chief Orders Swift Action After Four Killed in Rajanpur Land Dispute

Rajanpur, Following a deadly land dispute in Rajanpur that resulted in the deaths of four people, Dr. Usman Anwar, the Inspector General of Police for Punjab, has ordered an immediate investigation and the prompt arrest of the suspects involved. The incident, highlighting the ongoing issues of land disputes in the region, has prompted a strong response from law enforcement.

According to Punjab Police, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has directed the District Police Officer (DPO) of Dera Ghazi Khan to assemble a special team tasked with detaining those responsible for the killings. He has requested a detailed report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Dera Ghazi Khan and emphasized the importance of a thorough investigation to ensure justice for the victims’ families swiftly.
