Qaim takes notice of water shortage in Kachho and Chondiko areas of Dadu and Khairpur

Karachi, August 26, 2012 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah while taking serious notice of water shortage in Kachho and Chondiko areas of Dadu and Khairpur dsistricts, talked to the concerned Deputy Commissioners this morning through telephone to ascertain the present situation and directed them to make prompt measures to address the problems of the affected people and ensure provision of water to them urgently.

Chief Minister Sindh directed the DC Dadu to personally visit the affected areas of Kachho and provide immediate relief including provision of water, shelter and medical facilities to affected people and their live stock. He also directed the DC Khairpur to take effective steps to end the dearth of water in Chondiko town of Khairpur district.
