Quetta Reviews Progress of Socio-Economic Development Projects in Public Health Engineering

Quetta: The Provincial Secretary of Public Health Engineering, Imran Gachki, chaired the first review meeting on the progress of socio-economic development projects within the Public Health Engineering (PHE) sector. The meeting highlighted the significant progress and future phases of various projects aimed at fostering development and prosperity in the region.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the session was attended by key officials including Project Coordinator Shahzad Hasan Jafar, Additional Secretary PHE Zafar Baloch, and Deputy Secretary Development Tanveer Jamot. Discussions focused on the ongoing water supply projects under the Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Project, with a directive issued by Secretary Gachki to adhere to the previously set timelines and to initiate preparation for phase 2 of these projects.

Secretary Gachki emphasized the critical need for maintaining high-quality standards in project execution, ensuring that each project is completed on schedule. He commended the efforts made under the Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Project, which he believes will usher in a new era of development for the province.
