Radco Textiles Limited Announces EOGM to Amend Memorandum of Association

Islamabad, Radco Textiles Limited has announced that it will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) on Thursday, April 04, 2024, at its registered office in Islamabad. The primary agenda for the meeting is to discuss the alteration of the company’s Memorandum of Association, particularly focusing on amending the object clause to expand business operations into the solar energy sector.

The meeting will commence with the confirmation of minutes from the last Annual General Meeting, followed by the special business of amending the Memorandum of Association. The proposed amendment includes a new sub-clause that would authorize Radco Textiles Limited to engage in the importing, exporting, buying, selling, and dealing of all types of solar panels, solar energy equipment, and related products. Furthermore, the amendment seeks to enable the company to partake in the distribution and marketing of solar panels and associated accessories, such as inverters, batteries, and mounting structures.

The resolution, to be passed with or without modification, requires the consensus of shareholders. It stipulates that the Chief Executive, Director, or any one of the Directors and Company Secretary be empowered to give effect to this resolution and actions reasonably incidental thereto.

Additionally, the meeting will address any other business that may arise, with the permission of the chair.
