RAJANPUR/Injured personnel recovered in the firing of dacoits

Lahore, June 17, 2023 (PPI-OT): The brave soldiers of Punjab Police who were injured in the firing by robbers in Rajanpur have recovered. According to the details, on the night of June 12, motorcycle-riding bandits fired at the policemen posted on patrolling and seriously injured them in Fazilpur city police station. Constable Ayaz Ahmed was shot in the chest while Muzammil was shot in the arm. IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar took immediate notice of incident and directed the best treatment for the injured. Dr. Usman Anwar kept calling the two officials daily to inquire about their well-being. On the instructions of IG Punjab, RPO Captain (Retd) Sajjad Hasan Khan and DPO Rajanpur Captain (Retd) Dost Muhammad visited the injured officers in the hospital and provided excellent care. After being treated in the hospital for a week, both the young personnel have recovered by the grace of Allah.

IG Punjab said that the two brave personnel would soon resume their duties from the same point where they had to face the firing of robbers. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that brave Ghazis like Constables Ayaz Ahmed and Muzamal are the pride of the police department, thanks to these brave Ghazis of the police, an atmosphere of peace is established in the society and people sleep peacefully in their homes.
