SadaPay Introduces Apple Pay Invoicing for Pakistani Freelancers

Islamabad, Paving the way for modernized payment methods for freelancers in Pakistan, SadaPay, a prominent fintech firm, has unveiled that its business account, SadaBiz, will now support invoicing via Apple Pay. The revelation came during the inaugural SadaSummit hosted at COLABS, an event frequented by the IT industry’s notable figures, freelancing ecosystem advocates, and initial SadaBiz users.

Apple Pay, boasting a user count of 550 million, which overshadows PayPal’s 450 million, has seen its payment volume quadruple compared to PayPal’s and continues to observe exponential growth. This significant reach, with Apple Pay being integrated into over 2 billion iPhones worldwide, was acknowledged by SadaPay as an invaluable asset for the local market, particularly for freelancers. The convenience it offers, given its popularity, makes it simpler for clients to process payments.

Furthermore, SadaPay disclosed its intentions to integrate Google Pay, which is experiencing a surge in global user adoption, comparable to Apple Pay. Addressing the oversight by international payment firms that have historically sidelined the Pakistani market, SadaPay’s endeavours link Pakistani freelancers to more than 700 million devices worldwide, equipped with Apple Pay and Google Pay capabilities.

An additional highlight of the event was the launch of SadaSchool, a ground-breaking initiative conceptualized by the company. As described by the CEO of SadaPay, Brandon Timinsky, SadaSchool is intended to cater to the nation’s youth teeming with potential. The complimentary platform, encompassing Masterclasses designed to nurture novices into professionals in freelancing, also features a Discord community that emphasizes peer support and mentorship. SadaSchool aims to foster Pakistan’s digital era youth, empowering them to leave an indelible mark on the global freelance sector.

The significance of this development cannot be understated for Pakistan, a nation abundant in tech talent and freelancers, but has grappled with international payment hurdles due to the absence of platforms like PayPal. The integration of Apple Pay marks a turning point. A freelancer based in Lahore collaborating with a New York client will no longer need to navigate through multiple third-party platforms, thus evading substantial commissions and fees. Instead, SadaBiz offers a direct payment link that can be shared with clients, who can then simply opt for Apple Pay and confirm their payments in moments.

Timinsky elucidates SadaPay’s ethos: “Our vision is clear: the future of work for Pakistani youth lies in freelancing. The integration of Apple Pay is a monumental stride in realizing this vision. This initiative not only unlocks employment prospects for our skilled youth but also plays a crucial role in remitting valuable foreign exchange into Pakistan.” This information was sourced from the SadaPay.
