Saudi Immigration Officials Initiate Hajj Pre-Screening in Karachi

Karachi, In a significant move to streamline the pilgrimage process for Hajj, a team of forty-four Saudi immigration officials has arrived in Karachi. This deployment is part of the Road to Mecca Project, aimed at conducting Saudi immigration procedures directly at Karachi Airport.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the initiative is designed to facilitate the thousands of pilgrims traveling from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj. By handling visa and immigration formalities in Karachi, the project seeks to reduce wait times and improve the overall experience for pilgrims upon their arrival in Saudi Arabia.

This collaboration between Saudi and Pakistani authorities underscores a mutual commitment to assisting Hajj pilgrims. The officials will remain stationed at Karachi Airport throughout the Hajj season to ensure that all procedures are efficiently executed.
