Sazgar Engineering Announces Dividend Increase as Performance Stabilizes

Karachi, Sazgar Engineering Works Ltd., trading under the symbol SAZEW, has revealed plans to increase its dividends, announcing a 40% distribution for 2023 and projecting an 80% interim dividend for the same year. This announcement comes as Sazgar Engineering seeks to stabilize its financial performance and reward its shareholders adequately. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these strategic dividend plans are aimed at maintaining investor confidence and highlighting the company’s recovery and growth.

Sazgar Engineering traded today at Rs. 786.14, slightly above its daily average of Rs. 767.28, with a paid-up capital of Rs. 604.46 million. The company’s shares saw considerable activity from January to April 2024, trading between Rs. 724.96 and Rs. 179, and achieving a turnover of 161,508,639 shares. The earnings per share for 2022/2023 were recorded at Rs. 16.46. Sazgar Engineering has been listed since 1996, with its last book closure on April 29, 1996.
