School having 200 students operates from two rooms in Rajouri

Jammu, May 18, 2023 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a Government Middle School, having 200 students on rolls is operating from two rooms in Rajouri district. The school has only two rooms at Kotranaka, Budhal in Rajouri district.

This school was established in 1970 as a primary school. It was upgraded as a middle school in 2010. “The up-gradation took place only on papers. No new infrastructure was added. The students for the past so many years have been studying under an open sky,” local residents said. They said it’s difficult for 200 children to study in two rooms and under open sky.
