Shabbir urges India to give up intransigence on Kashmir

Srinagar, December 15, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, has urged India to give up its intransigence and accept the ground realities regarding the Kashmir dispute.

Shabbir Ahmad Shah addressing a meeting of his party activists in Shangus area of Islamabad district said that Kashmir was not a part of India but was an internationally recognised disputed territory. He said that the people of Kashmir had been struggling to secure get rid of Indian bondage and they would continue their movement till complete success.

He said that the unprecedented sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiris would not be allowed go waste and they would definitely achieve their right to self-determination one day. He said that the Indian brutalities could not prevent the people of Kashmir from continuing their just struggle.

Shabbir Ahmad Shah also demanded repeal of black laws and withdrawal of Indian troops from the occupied territory. He appealed to the international community to play an effective role in settling the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
