Shareholders of Pakistan Paper Products Limited Pass Resolution and Elect New Directors at Extraordinary General Meeting

Karachi, the shareholders of Pakistan Paper Products Limited convened for an Extraordinary General Meeting on May 11, 2023. During the meeting, several resolutions were passed and adopted, marking a new chapter for the company.

The first order of business was to confirm the minutes of the 60th Annual General Meeting held on October 25, 2022. The shareholders unanimously verified the accuracy of the minutes, setting a foundation of transparency and accountability.

One of the most crucial decisions made during the meeting was the election of seven directors to the Pakistan Paper Products Limited board. These directors, as fixed by the Board of Directors, will serve a three-year term. The newly elected directors are Mr. Abbas Sayeed, Dr. Asadullah Sayeed, Mr. Abid Sayeed, Ms. Aisha Fariel Salahuddin (Independent Director), Mr. Sayeed Imran, Mr. Matiuddin Siddiqui (NIT Nominee-Independent Director), and Mrs. Muleika Sayeed.
