Sibi Implements Comprehensive Waste Management Plan for DHQ Hospital

Sibi, A pivotal meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Jahanzeb Sheikh established crucial decisions to enhance the cleanliness and waste management at DHQ Hospital. The session, involving key municipal and health officials, outlined a detailed strategy for waste disposal and cleanliness to improve hospital sanitation.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting included Chairman Municipal Committee Sardar Muhammad Khan Khajak and MSDHQ Dr. Babar Shahid among others, focusing on implementing a systematic waste management protocol within the hospital premises.

It was decided that each unit or ward in-charge would ensure waste collection in designated bins, with the waste management officer overseeing central disposal efforts. Furthermore, the Municipal Committee Sibi is tasked with collecting the waste from the central site every other day, ensuring that hospital operations are supported by a robust and efficient waste management system.
