Sindh Excise Department achieves 100 percent revenue collection target

Karachi, June 15, 2016 (PPI-OT):Excise and Taxation department government of Sindh has achieved the target of revenue collection 100 percent that is 41 billion, 78 crore and 50 lakh rupees. This said by provincial minister for excise and taxation Giyan Chand Essarani, while presiding over a departmental meeting and lauded the efficiency of the officers of the department.

He told that during eleven months namely till May 39 billion, 44 crore and 13 lakh rupees were recovered while in current month 3 billion and 94 crore rupees would be recovered and the major part of it, had been recovered. He said that revolutionary measures had been taken in the department to eradicate the corruption and zero tolerance was showed in this regard and that made it possible to get 100 percent target.

He assured the masses that PPP government had always strived for the welfare and betterment of the people and now under leadership of chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co chairman Asif Ali Zardari we would continue our mission for the progress and development of the province and the country as well.
