Sindh Governor Visits Injured Camel in Malir, Commits to Funding Treatment

Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri visited the Animal Shelter Home in Malir on the second day of Eid to personally attend to an injured camel named Kemi, who was recently a victim of cruelty in Tesori Sanghar. The Governor expressed his commitment to fully fund the camel’s treatment and emphasized the importance of caring for such vulnerable animals.

According to Sindh Governor House, during his visit, Governor Tesuri was briefed by the shelter’s administration on the ongoing care and treatment efforts for Kemi. He provided the shelter with 20 manchas of fodder and reiterated his dedication to ensuring the best possible recovery for the camel, highlighting a conversation with the Consul General of UAE regarding support for the treatment costs. Governor Tesuri also called for stringent punishment for those responsible for the cruelty against Kemi, reflecting a strong stance against animal abuse.
