Sindh Officials Form Special Committee to Resolve High-Profile Cases in Sukkur

Sukkur, In a recent visit to Sukkur, Sindh Interior Minister Ziaul Hasan Linjar and Inspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon discussed the region’s law and order challenges and announced the formation of a special committee dedicated to resolving two high-profile cases.

According to Sindh Police, the special committee will focus on the cases of journalist John Muhammad Maher and Priya Kumari. Interior Minister Linjar emphasized the need for a swift and impartial resolution to both cases, stating that the committee should bring these investigations to a logical conclusion without succumbing to external pressures.

The discussion also covered broader security measures and police tactics in the region, with a specific call from IG Memon for vigilance in the Kacha areas, known for their challenging law and order situation. Memon reassured the public and the victim families that justice would be served, affirming that the accused would not escape the law.

This move highlights the government’s commitment to enforcing law and order and ensuring justice in sensitive cases, reflecting ongoing efforts to address public concerns about safety and legal accountability in Sindh.
