Sindh to launch solar energy project for clean energy

Sindh Solar Energy Project will be launched with the cooperation of the World Bank to take a step towards clean and green energy.

This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah while addressing a news conference in Karachi today.

The Chief Minister said under this flagship project all the government buildings and properties will be converted to solar power.

He said the step would not only cut the expenditure but would also help reduce carbon emissions.

The Chief Minister said the Government would also provide solar panels to around two hundred thousand households under the project, which would help in dealing with ongoing electricity shortage and electricity bills crisis.
