KARACHI: Standard Chartered Pakistan and Emirates have formed a strategic partnership to enhance the benefits available to Standard Chartered Credit Card holders, according to a press release issued by the bank. The agreement, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), will enable cardholders to access special fares on tickets purchased online through the Emirates website and offer them the option to split payments into monthly installments of up to 12 months.
The partnership is seen as a move to bolster Standard Chartered’s standing as a leading wealth advisory institution in Pakistan and a trusted banking partner for international businesses in the region. It underscores the bank’s dedication to delivering premium services and perks to its clients.
The signing ceremony was attended by Rehan Shaikh, CEO and Head of Coverage at Standard Chartered Pakistan, and Mohammed Alhashmi, Vice President for Pakistan at Emirates. Senior management from both organizations, including Saadya Riaz, Head of Wealth and Retail Banking at Standard Chartered Pakistan, and Ashfaq Shah, Corporate Sales Manager for Pakistan at Emirates, were also present.
Rehan Shaikh described the partnership as a significant milestone that aligns with the bank’s mission to provide superior value and convenience to its clients. He highlighted that the collaboration leverages Standard Chartered’s global network and Emirates’ service excellence to offer travel benefits that meet clients’ lifestyle and financial needs.
Mohammed Alhashmi expressed delight in partnering with Standard Chartered Pakistan, emphasizing the aim to expand Emirates’ customer base in Pakistan. He noted that the incentives for Standard Chartered customers are designed to enhance their travel experience with added value.
