Techlift Boot camp launched to train IT graduates: IT Minister

Islamabad, March 21, 2023 (PPI-OT): About 1800 IT graduates have successfully completed their training session under the Techlift Boot camp program, launched by Ministry of IT and Telecommunication in May 2022. This was stated by Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque while addressing the graduation ceremony of Boot Camp in Karachi.

He said under the program, 2200 more IT graduates would also complete their training by June this year. The Minister said the IT graduates are being offered training by Pakistan Software Export Board, Pakistan Software House Association and twenty-one leading tech companies. He said the industry-driven boot camp program, funded by the government, is specifically designed to provide latest technology training to the youth, making them competitive in the job market with an impressive 80 percent employability rate.
