Temporary Closure of Consular Office in Islamabad Announced

Islamabad: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that its consular office in Islamabad will be closed tomorrow, with normal operations resuming on Monday.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, while the main consular office in Islamabad will not be open, the liaison offices in Lahore, Gujrat, Karachi, Quetta, and Peshawar will continue to provide in-person consular services. The Ministry has also set up courier service apostille collection points in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi to facilitate the submission and collection of documents, aiming to alleviate congestion and enhance service efficiency for the public.
