Test for Excise and Taxation Officer Position in Gilgit Baltistan Postponed Due to Court Order

Islamabad: The scheduled test for the position of Excise and Taxation Officer (BS-17) in Gilgit Baltistan has been postponed. The Federal Public Service Commission announced the deferment following a court order related to the ongoing case F.4-179/2023-R.

According to Federal Public Service Commission, the decision was made in compliance with the Gilgit Baltistan Service Tribunal’s directive. The test was initially set for October 10, 2024, but has now been delayed indefinitely pending further legal processes. Candidates involved in this specific case have been advised not to attend the previously scheduled test.
