Islamabad, July 24, 2023 (PPI-OT): Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf and Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani have expressed deep sorrow and regret over the loss of lives and property in different parts of the country due to the recent torrential rains, flash floods and landslides.

The Speaker and Deputy Speaker expressed their heartfelt sympathy to the affected families and directed the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to provide relief and rehabilitation to the victims.

The Speaker and the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly prayed for the patience of the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss and to raise the standards of those who lost their lives in the recent rains and other accidents.
