Top Pakistani Leaders Extend Baisakhi Greetings to Sikh Community

Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today extended their greetings to the Sikh community on the occasion of the Baisakhi festival, a significant event marked by messages of love, peace, and community unity. The leaders emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to cultural diversity and minority rights during this festive period.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders praised the Sikh community’s contributions to the country’s development and reiterated their commitment to safeguarding minority rights. President Zardari remarked on the pride Pakistan holds in its diverse cultural heritage and assured continued efforts to facilitate the Sikh community in the country. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the government’s initiatives to provide all necessary facilities to Sikh pilgrims visiting their religious sites in Pakistan. He also described Baisakhi as a festival that enhances the nation’s cultural mosaic, promoting love and happiness.
