Srinagar: A tragic accident occurred in the Satarteran area of Tangmarg tehsil, Baramulla district, where a local woman died after falling from a tree.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Afroza Begum, aged 40, was critically injured in the fall and subsequently transported to JVC Hospital for specialized treatment, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Initial treatment was provided at the Sub-District Hospital Tangmarg before her transfer to JVC Hospital in Srinagar. Local police have reported the incident and confirmed that an investigation into the circumstances of the fall is ongoing.
