Karachi, Zameer Mohammed Choudrey, a non-executive director at United Bank Limited, has purchased 605,000 shares at a rate of 221.06 per share. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the shares were acquired in a ready market through CDC certificates.
These transactions will be discussed in the upcoming board meeting, including any non-compliance issues as per PSX Regulation clause No. 5.6.1.(d). Additionally, the bank has confirmed that if the holding period for these shares is less than six months, any profit gained will be handled according to Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, requiring a cheque for the profit amount to be deposited with SECP.
