Quetta: The Regional Meteorological Center of Balochistan has predicted mixed weather conditions for various districts within the province for the upcoming days. The forecast includes light to heavy rainfall in specific areas, along with very hot and humid weather expected in most districts.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Tuesday is set to be partly cloudy with possibilities of light rain, wind, and thundershowers in districts such as Khuzdar, Awaran, Gwadar, Pasni, Ormara, Lasbela, and Hub. Additionally, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in Hub, Lasbela, Awaran, and Khuzdar. The weather in most parts of the province, including Chagai, Panjgur, Washik, and Kech, will remain very hot and humid.
The forecast for Wednesday indicates continued high temperatures and humidity in Sabi, Nasirabad, Jafarabad, and Sahabatpur. Conversely, districts like Panjgur, Washik, Chagai, and Kharan are expected to experience extremely hot conditions. However, strong winds and thundershowers might occur in places such as Khuzdar, Awaran, Ormara, Hub, and Lasbela.
Temperature recordings on Tuesday reached highs of 49°C in Turbat, 43°C in Lasbela and Dalbandin, 42°C in Nokundi, and 41°C in Sabi. Panjgur and Khuzdar saw temperatures of 40°C and 39°C respectively, while coastal regions like Pasni, Gwadar, and Jiwani recorded temperatures ranging from 37°C to 39°C. Quetta, Qalat, and Barkhan experienced cooler conditions with temperatures between 32°C and 34°C. Rainfall was notably recorded at 7.0 mm in Zhob and 1.0 mm in Ziarat.
