Weather Forecast: Hot and Dry Conditions to Persist Across Balochistan

Quetta, The Meteorological Center of Balochistan has forecasted predominantly hot and dry weather for most districts of the province, with the potential for thunderstorms accompanied by dusty winds in the northern districts continuing into Wednesday.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the recent weather pattern has seen extremely high temperatures across the region. In the last 24 hours, Sabi recorded the highest temperature at 47 degrees Celsius, followed by Nokundi at 45.5 degrees, and Dalbandin at 43.5 degrees. Other areas such as Panjgur and Turbat experienced temperatures around 41.5 degrees, Barkhan at 40.5 degrees, and Quetta at a relatively cooler 36.5 degrees Celsius.

Residents in the northern districts are advised to prepare for possible thunderstorms which may bring dusty winds, potentially disrupting outdoor activities and travel. The continued hot and dry weather in most other parts of Balochistan demands precautions against heat-related health risks.
