Youth Parliament of Pakistan Engages in Bilateral Talks at UK Parliament

London, A delegation from the Youth Parliament of Pakistan (YPP) visited the UK Parliament recently, engaging in discussions with prominent British parliamentarians on global issues concerning youth. The delegation, led by President Ubaid Qureshi, was hosted by Khalid Mahmood MP, focusing on education, mental health, climate action, and the Kashmir issue.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the session allowed the delegates to discuss the significant impact of civil society and youth engagement on strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UK. Issues discussed included the importance of international collaboration in addressing challenges faced by young populations globally.

The visit highlighted the role of youth in democratic processes and the importance of their participation in political dialogue. The YPP delegation consisted of seven members, including moderators Ms. Hira Bilal and Ms. Sidra Akhtar. The event concluded with an exchange of souvenirs, underlining the gratitude and mutual respect between the two nations.
