Sindh Energy Minister Urges Protective Measures for Miners in Thar Amid Heat Stroke Concerns

Karachi, Provincial Minister for Energy, Planning and Development Syed Nasir Hussain Shah called for enhanced safety measures to protect miners in Thar from heat stroke as temperatures rise. The directive aims to ensure the health and safety of workers in the critical mining sector.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Sindh, Minister Shah emphasized the importance of implementing comprehensive heat stroke prevention strategies for all mining operations in Thar. He stated that the welfare of miners is a priority, highlighting their role as the backbone of the mining industry.
