Ziarat Indus Hospital and Health Department Hold World Malaria Day Awareness Walk

Ziarat, Ziarat Indus Hospital and the Ziarat Health Department organized an awareness walk to mark World Malaria Day on 25th April, led by Deputy District Health Officer Ziarat Dr. Dawood Kakar and Medical Superintendent DHQ Hospital Ziarat Dr. Irfanuddin. The walk aimed to raise awareness about malaria prevention and control.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the event was attended by various community leaders and officials, including District Coordinator of Indus Hospital IHHN Network Ziarat Nizamuddin Kakar, Sardar Qasim Khan Sarangzai, District Sports Officer Abdul Nasir Panizai, District Education Officer Abdul Fayyaz, District President Anjuman Tajran, and a large number of people from different backgrounds.

Participants carried a large banner listing measures to combat malaria, emphasizing the importance of awareness in preventing the spread of the disease. The walk brought together community members and local authorities to promote public health and support efforts to reduce malaria cases in the region.

The awareness walk is part of a broader initiative to engage the public in malaria prevention and encourage communities to take active roles in fighting the disease. By involving key stakeholders and highlighting preventive measures, Ziarat aims to create a more informed and proactive approach to malaria control.
