Ziarat Officials Plan Solar Transition for Agricultural Tube Wells

Ziarat: In an effort to revolutionize local agriculture, Ziarat officials convened to discuss transitioning legal tube wells to solar power, led by Deputy Commissioner Liaquat Ali Kakar.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting included Assistant Commissioner Abdul Raziq, Chairman of the Zamindar Action Committee Muhammad Naeem Panizai, representatives from WAPDA, and local law enforcement.

Deputy Commissioner Kakar emphasized that converting agricultural tube wells to solar energy would significantly benefit agriculture and meet the longstanding demands of local landowners. He reiterated the government’s commitment to agriculture as a pivotal sector for national development and assured that farmers’ issues would be prioritized.
