At least twenty three people martyred while more than ninty injured in a blast in the workers convention of JUI (F) at Khar area of tribal district Bajaur on Sunday afternoon.
According to Rescue 1122, the injured are being shifted to hospital.
Rescue 1122 has sent nine additional ambulances from Mohamand, Dir and Charsadda to shift injured to hospitals in Timergara and Peshawar.
Helicopters of Pakistan Army are participating in the rescue operation after the blast in Khar.
According to the details, ten seriously injured persons were transferred to Peshawar in two helicopters of Pakistan Army.
While twelve more seriously injured people already admitted to Bajaur Scouts Hospital are also being transferred to Peshawar.
IG FC Major General Noor Wali Khan is present in Bajaur to ensure the rescue operation and immediate treatment of the injured.
