Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq Receives Warm Welcome in Neelum Valley

Neelum Valley, Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, received a rousing welcome during his inaugural visit to Neelum Valley. Arriving in Karen, the Prime Minister was greeted by enthusiastic crowds, significant political figures, and vibrant celebrations, emphasizing the strong patriotic sentiments of the local populace.

According to Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Minister of Information Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah and Minister of Government Mian Abdul Waheed were present to receive the Prime Minister. The welcoming party organized a grand vehicular rally from Duwarian to Lawat Bala, attended by a large number of residents displaying the flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, echoing chants of national unity and support for the Prime Minister.

The rally participants vocally expressed their loyalty to Pakistan with slogans such as “Long Live Pakistan” and “What is the relation between Kashmir and Pakistan? La Ilaha Illallah.” The Prime Minister’s journey through the valley was marked by stops where local residents showered him with flower petals and celebrated his visit with drum beats, showcasing the cultural warmth and hospitality of the region.

Welcoming banners adorned the rally’s route, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Local government dignitaries, including the Chairman of District Councils and members of the District and Union Councils, participated actively in the festivities. Senior government officials such as Colonel (R) Waqar Noor, Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq, and Diwan Ali Khan Chughtai also accompanied the Prime Minister, highlighting the political significance of the visit.

The Prime Minister’s tour of Neelum Valley underscores the importance of the region in the broader political landscape of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, with the local community eager to engage with state leadership on vital regional issues and development initiatives.
