Balochistan government is making all out efforts for uplift of health sector and provide all basic facilities to the poor masses in the province.
The Director General Provincial Health Services Department told Radio Pakistan Quetta on Thursday that for this purpose, implementation on various multi-purpose and useful projects is in progress.
He said that a project to control the epidemic diseases in the province is also being implemented at a cost of 2.5 billion rupees.
Similarly, a programme to control Tuberculosis is also being executed in the province at a cost of 551 million rupees.
He said National Maternal Newly Born and Child Care programme is being implemented at a cost of 1.4 billion rupees with the aim of provision of modern health facilities to the mother and child.
The Director General Provincial Health Services said that construction work of a hospital in Naal area of Khuzdar district will be completed at a cost of 270 million rupees.
