Balochistan to Enhance Livestock Services with Free Veterinary Camps and Consultations

Quetta, In a significant move to boost the livestock sector in Balochistan, Provincial Minister of Animal Affairs and Development Bakht Muhammad Ka Kad announced the launch of free veterinary camps and consultations across the region to aid cattle rearers.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Ka Kad detailed the initiative during meetings with various delegations. The program aims to provide comprehensive services at the doorstep of livestock farmers, including vaccinations, deworming treatments, and antibiotics to ensure the health and productivity of the animals.

The minister emphasized that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to maximize milk and meat production in the province. Additionally, a special consultation campaign has been initiated to offer farmers expert advice on improving their outputs, which in turn will contribute to the country’s economic stability and growth. This initiative not only aims to meet local nutritional needs but also to enhance the potential for exporting dairy and meat products, thereby generating valuable foreign exchange.

The announcement underscores the provincial government’s commitment to supporting and developing the agricultural and livestock sectors as key drivers of Balochistan’s economy.
