Balochistan to Receive Fair Water Share from Sindh via Kirthar Canal, Officials Confirm

Quetta: Balochistan is set to receive its rightful share of water from the Kirthar Canal as part of a collaborative initiative led by Provincial Health Minister Sardarzada Faisal Khan Jamali and the Sindh Irrigation authorities. This agreement comes after significant efforts to address water distribution issues that have impacted the agricultural sector in Balochistan.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the Sindh government has commenced clean-up operations along the Kirthar Canal at the border of Sindh. He emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to solving the water distribution issues as a top priority, ensuring that the agricultural needs of the region are met. The initiative is seen as a crucial development in bolstering agricultural productivity and addressing the longstanding challenges faced by farmers in the area.
