Rawalpindi: The Board of Directors of National Refinery Limited has rescheduled its upcoming meeting originally planned for 13:00 on September 2, 2024, to an earlier time of 09:00 on the same day. The meeting, set to take place in Rawalpindi, will focus on the approval of the Annual Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, and the declaration of any entitlements.
The adjustment in timing was announced without specification of the reasons for the change. The venue for the meeting remains unchanged.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), National Refinery has also declared a “Closed Period” starting from August 8, 2024, until the day of the meeting, September 2, 2024. During this period, Directors, the CEO, and Executives are prohibited from dealing directly or indirectly with the company’s shares. This measure is in compliance with Clause 5.6.4 of the PSX’s Rule Book, aimed at preventing insider trading during pivotal financial disclosures.
The company has advised the Certificate Holders of the Exchange to be informed of these changes accordingly.
