Body of missing civilian found in Handwara

Srinagar, March 29, 2023 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, body of a missing civilian, was recovered from Kupwara district. The dead body of 65-year-old Mohammad Shaban, who went missing last week, was recovered from Braripora-Handwara in the outskirts of the district.

An official told media men that the body was spotted by some locals, following which police were informed and a team reached the spot. The official said the body will be handed over to the family after completion of medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, the family members of the one 21-year-old deceased youth Keshav Kumar assembled on the main highway opposite Government Medical College Kathua district and resorted to sloganeering, demanding enquiry into the mysterious death of the youth. Keshav Kumar was found dead under mysterious circumstances when he was going to visit a Hindu shrine in Billawar area of the district.
