BSF Constable Found Dead in Baramulla, Kashmir

Srinagar, In the Baramulla district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, a constable from the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) was found deceased under suspicious circumstances, prompting an official investigation.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased, identified as Rutumani from the 143rd Battalion and a native of Assam, was discovered at his post in a bloodied state. The incident has led to the initiation of inquest proceedings, with the body being transferred to the government medical college and hospital in Baramulla for further examination.

Authorities have launched an investigation to uncover the facts surrounding the constable’s death, amid growing concerns about security and the well-being of armed forces personnel in the region.
