CDWP approves Golen Gol Hydropower, Karakoram Highway Phase-I projects

The Central Development Working Party has recommended two projects worth over 609 billion rupees to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council for consideration.

The decision to this effect was taken during today’s meeting of the CDWP that was held in Islamabad.

The 108 MW Golen Gol Hydropower Project Chitral worth over forty-two billion rupees was recommended to ECNEC for further consideration.

Another project titled China Pakistan Economic Corridor Karakorum Highway Phase-I Thakot to Raikot was also presented in the meeting. The project amounting over 567 billion rupees was also recommended to ECNEC.
