Central Power Purchasing Agency Made Functional

Islamabad: First ever Board of Directors meeting of Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) (Guarantee) was held here on Wednesday under the chairpersonship of Secretary, Water and Power Ministry.

Board of Directors CPPA resolved that all pre-requisites necessary to commence the business of the company need to be fulfilled to make it fully functional organization.

Board of Directors (CPPA) have constituted two sub-committees in regard to matters concerning technical and human resource of the company.

CPPA (Guarantee) is a company created to deal with the core functions of transaction of sale and purchase between power generation companies (DISCOS) in accordance with NEPRA.
